Paracetamol or acetaminophen is a widely used analgesic and antihypertensive agent Extract from tar, an active metabolite of fenacetin. In contrast to fenacetin, paracetamol did not appear to be carcinogenic in any way. Paracetamol is well tolerated, and does not have many side effects of aspirin, and is often available in over-the-counter pharmacies. It is generally used to treat fever, headaches, pain and light aches. Paracetamol is also useful in dealing with other severe pain in combination with NSAIDs or with analgesics.

Do not use more dose than recommended. An overdose of  paracetamol can cause serious harm. The maximum amount of paracetamol for adults is 1000 mg and for per day it is 4000 mg. overdose can cause liver disease.

Do not use medication if you are allergic to paracetamol.

 Do not use if you have
liver disease
alcoholism
it is known whether paracetamol will harm an unborn baby. So tell your doctor if you pregnant.

Get emergency help if paracetamol shows allergic reactions to your body. Like swelling of your face, tongue and throat and also stop using paracetamol if you got serious side effects like :
Nausea, stomach pain
Dark urine and colored stools
Jaundice
Feeling weakness.
