Ofloxacin is a synthetic antibiotic as a chemotherapeutic agent of the second-generation fluoroquinolone group, commonly known as Optiflux. When taken orally, the concentration is very high in the urine and therefore it is very effective in all cases of urinary system, including infection with pseudomonas, and also access to the prostate.  Mechanism of Action
The DNA-inhibiting enzyme inhibits DNA (necessary for DNA replication) and thus inhibits its synthesis, which is effective against a wide variety of negative and gram-positive aerobic organisms.

Use
Afloxacin is used in the treatment of infections caused by the sensitive bacteria of ophloxacin, such as: Kidney, urinary, genital, prostate and gonorrhea infections. Acute and chronic respiratory infections. Ear, Nose and Throat Injuries. Abdominal cavity injuries. Skin injury and soft tissue.
Contra indications
 Patients who are known to have an allergy to oploxacin or quinolone derivatives. Patients with epilepsy or patients with prior injuries to the central nervous system. Children and those in development. Pregnant or lactating women.


 side effects
Sometimes there may be disturbances such as nausea, gastrointestinal disorder, headache, dizziness, skin allergy symptoms or allergic reactions caused by exposure to sunlight.


Interactions
Antacids or iron should be taken only before or after ingestion of the preparation in two hours, as antacids, sucralfates and zinc salts reduce the absorption of the drug.



Precautions
During treatment, the patient should not be exposed to long-term sun or sunlight. You should avoid driving and actions that require concentration.



Dosage
Respiratory infections: One tablet twice daily Skin and soft tissue infections: 1 tablet twice daily Upper urinary tract infections: 1 tablet twice daily Abdominal cavities: 1 tablet twice daily Injuries of the lower urinary tract: Text of one tablet twice daily In severe cases, the dose can be increased to 1.5-2 tablets twice daily.


Pharmaceutical forms
Available in the form of injections containing 40 mg per ml, in the form of a solution of ears at a concentration of 3%, and in the form of a solution in the eye concentration of 3%, and in the form of tablets containing 200, 300, and 400 mg.


Time
Take the medicine on an empty stomach before eating an hour or two after eating with a glass of water. Do not take medicine with food. Treatment period Treatment should continue for 3 days after the body's normal temperature and symptoms have returned. Treatment lasts 7 to 10 days for most acute infections.

Treatment period
